Have you put the right keywords in your business profile, business description and other sections?
- Clearly define your target audience and choose the right keywords accordingly:
Before writing the content for your page, updates, products, try to answer the below points to boil down to the most appropriate set of keywords:
- Who are your audience segments?
- What kind of information do they need?
- Why do they need that information?
- Which keywords they’re using to find it?
- Choose your title wisely when posting. Try to include primary keyword into the title. Cover specifics like model number, model name, etc.
- Don’t skip description. Write at least 200 words in your description. Include your keywords in the description whenever updating content on your website.
- Break your topic into small sub-topics.
- Your First paragraph must summarise the entire article.
- Cover each sub-topic in a new paragraph. Try to have a title for each paragraph if applicable. Format the text properly.
- Use bullet points if possible.
- Make your content engaging. When your visitors stay and read, that makes your content look great to Google.
- Enter the shortlisted keywords in the Keyword section of the add/edit Post/Product pages. .
- Maintain a fixed frequency for writing your updates. Say 1 week - every Monday, tue, or once every 2 days. Or once every month, etc. The more frequently you post, the better it is for your search rankings.
- Your content should be free from any grammatical errors.
- Upload relevant images for your posts/ images/ products
- Interlinking your pages: Use hyperlinks to link to other relevant pages in your website. If possible use keywords in the links.
- Keep a regular watch on your analytics to understand your users behavior.
- Integrate 3rd part analytics tool like Google analytics, FB pixel, Google Tag Manager, etc. for detailed reports.
- Maintain Uniqueness in your content. Do not copy from other sites. Copied content carry lesser SEO weightage/value.
- Keep your pages lightweight. Resize & compress images before uploading.
